Synopsis
A humble kumor (potter) spends his days creating beautiful earthen pots, cups, and lamps on his spinning wheel. Despite his hard work and skill, his craft struggles to survive in a world moving towards plastic and metal products.
Kumor is a short, intimate portrait of a traditional potter and the craft he has practised all his life. On his spinning wheel, clay becomes pots, cups, and lamps — objects of everyday beauty made by hand. But as plastic and metal products flood the market, the potter's livelihood, and a craft passed down through generations, hangs in the balance. The film is a quiet meditation on dignity, skill, and what we lose when we stop making things by hand.
